Tasmanian whiskey has been in the international spotlight for quite a few years now. It was time to celebrate a local success story. The narrative needed to be uniquely Tasmanian. Leatherwood – with tones of amber and apricot, mimics the spirit itself. Coles Bar Red granite from the island’s east coast marries well tonally. Copper hardware – indicative of the copper mining history on Tasmania’s west coast. Charred Tasmanian O and Huon Pine drawers, culminated in the vision of this piece.
